Philadelphia Theatre Company announces its 2025/26 season featuring three mainstage productions, special programming, and single tickets now on sale. The season features three mainstage productions: “Primary Trust,” “Caesar,” and “Wilderness Generation.” Single tickets priced from $25 to $55 are now available, and the season includes additional programming such as concerts and youth productions.

The season opens with “Primary Trust,” the Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Eboni Booth. Directed by Amina Robinson, performances run from September 19 to October 5, 2025. The story follows Kenneth, a loner who learns to embrace life after losing his job.

Following this will be “Caesar,” Tyler Dobrowsky’s adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar.” Directed by Morgan Green, performances are scheduled from February 6 to 22, 2026. This contemporary political thriller explores the cost of protecting democracy.

The season concludes with “Wilderness Generation,” a world premiere by James Ijames, with performances from April 10 to May 3, 2026. Set during a summer weekend, the play explores family secrets and legacy. Directed by Taibi Magar, the production focuses on emotional weight and healing.

In addition to the mainstage productions, special programming includes a concert version of “La Guagua 47” by Alba Martinez and solo shows by Paige Hernandez: “Paige in Full” and “Havana Hop.” The theatre company also emphasizes community engagement through Educator Community Nights and Student Matinees.
